A famous painting, a robbery, and a great fire: the Ye residence was destroyed.

Ye Xuanliang barely escaped with her life. After wandering for more than ten years, she finally returned.

The four cities were still there, but not even the ruins of the Ye residence remained.

Without a word, she changed her name and identity to Xing Zhong and opened a distillery in the eastern city. On the surface, she played the carefree drinker. In secret, she began to resume the revenge she had put off for more than a decade.

One mysterious case followed another.

The Yuezhang Pavilion, which handled cases, had an “outside manager.” He was a young master from the Ling residence in the northern city, usually laid-back and unconventional, named Ling Shujian.

Ling Shujian was so turned around by the cases that he spent ages investigating, only to trace them back to Ye Xuanliang. Then he discovered...

She was an old acquaintance.

· The heroine is Ye Xuanliang. Xing Zhong is her secret identity.
