[Hunter X Hunter] My Girlfriend Is a Natural-Born Heartbreaker

A naturally ruthless, incredibly capable young woman vs. a thief who wants to trick her into giving up her heart and abilities, but ends up losing his money and virtue and getting himself in too deep, like a soap-opera hero (not really).

The description is a little long, but that's the gist of it.

I heard the old author was resuming the series, so I went back to check on my favorite group from my chuuni days, only to be wrecked by the new characterization. How did that sunny, cheerful boy who blushed and trembled when he spoke to the young lady become the awful bald Luoluo we have now?! All I can say is, this old author really is something [gritted teeth JPG]

Eudora is a creature who seems guileless but is actually ruthless. Some of her delicate remarks include, but aren't limited to:

“I thought he seemed like a pretty nice person, so I got together with him.”

“His face is so handsome. It's a good deal.”

“He was doing fine before he got together with me, so there's no reason he'd fall apart after we started dating. That's why it's perfectly normal to just let him know and head out.”

“Marriage is just a ceremony and a legal bond. I don't care about those worldly things... Fine, mostly I don't want his stuff, so he shouldn't want mine either.”

“If I'm unhappy, I'll break up with him. What does it have to do with me if he's sad?”

“I didn't cheat. It was just a business dinner.”

Her roommates, who care deeply about her: Wow, my friend is so ruthless.

---- From the group's perspective ----

One day, the group members heard that their leader had a girlfriend.

Member A: Hahaha, I'll bet it's for her abilities.

Member B: What a poor guy.

The spider-brained one who watched the whole thing: Pfft--

The truly unfortunate leader: ...

P.S. Don't think the leader is out of character. The original author has thrown caution to the wind, so come on, let's all go crazy together!

Theme: Freedom comes first. Just live happily.
