[A Guide to a Vicious Demon Lord Teasing a Little Slacker, Only to Be Tamed and Domesticated in Return!!]
Shen Pingwu was a lazy nobody in her sect, yet she was forced to shoulder the mission of restoring it and embark on a trial in the immortal sects.
On the very first day of the trial, her companions abandoned her as bait. Just as the vengeful ghosts were driving her into a corner with nowhere left to run,
she stumbled into a run-down shrine. Outside, snow blanketed the ground; inside, candlelight flickered. The only thing on the altar was a memorial tablet for He Chunshan, the demon lord rumored to be cruel and bloodthirsty.
Shen Pingwu: Demon Lord, do one good deed now that you're dead!
She picked up the tablet and hurled it at the ghosts, hoping to win herself a sliver of a chance to survive.
But then a man appeared beside her, wearing light armor, with dried blood on his cheek.
A piercing chill surrounded him.
He Chunshan lifted his eyelids and looked at the girl in the shrine who had thrown his memorial tablet. His brows rose slightly. "?"
Shen Pingwu's eyelid twitched. Had she actually summoned the person whose tablet she'd just thrown?!!!
*
He Chunshan had once been without a name. When people called him He Chunshan, he simply accepted it. A thousand years ago, at the Battle of Wuji Cliff, he thought he could finally put an end to his absurd, tedious life.
The Yellow Springs would not ferry him across, and the Heavenly Dao would not claim him.
He wandered on foot for thousands of miles, crossing mountains and wading through streams. When he no longer knew where to go, he happened to hear someone call out.
"He... Chunshan?"
So he came.
*
Shen Pingwu: I didn't call you.
He Chunshan: I heard my name.
Shen Pingwu: I did not call you!!!
[Little Scene]
From that day on, there was an extra figure by Shen Pingwu's side.
*Shen Pingwu practiced swordsmanship while He Chunshan sat nearby eating grapes and offering his critique: "Your stance is unstable, and so is your heart. Boring."
*When Shen Pingwu went down the mountain, He Chunshan floated beside her and watched her slay demons with a hint of disdain: "Too indecisive. Boring."
*When Shen Pingwu was injured, He Chunshan treated her wounds and shook his head: "Your spells are shoddy. Boring."
At last, Shen Pingwu could take no more. She might be a lazy slacker, but even she couldn't put up with someone constantly jeering at her, so she trained with all her might.
Until she pointed her sword at the sky and slew demons without blinking.
Only then did He Chunshan nod. "You've got a tenth of my former flair."
Shen Pingwu finally snapped and thrust her sword at He Chunshan, but the man caught her wrist and pulled her into his arms. His eyes were as black as a long winter night.
Want to kill me? Now that's interesting.
[Reading Guide]
1: Everyone has good and evil in them. The male lead is a soul, mercurial by nature, while the female lead loves peace.
2: A story of mutual healing. Both leads have secret identities. A light, sweet little treat.
3: This is something the author wrote for their own amusement, so please don't flame me if it's not your thing, okay? (Inspired by a line of poetry from my high school days: "Where the level grass ends, spring mountains begin." I wanted to write about two wandering souls finding their way to each other.)
Here's a preview of my upcoming story:
Sang Zhi transmigrates into a fantasy novel. The System gives her the task [Win Over the Fragile, Beautiful, Strong, and Wretched Male Lead], then vanishes without a trace.
Sang Zhi looks at the handsome young man kneeling in the snow with his back held straight and clenches her fist. "No problem. I've thoroughly studied the Thirty-Six Strategies for winning someone over!"
And so Sang Zhi starts working hard to win the male lead's heart.
*
Mu Chao is betrayed by his fellow sect disciples and collapses, wounded, in a damp haunted wasteland. Sang Zhi rushes over to pull him to safety, but dislocates his arm...
Mu Chao cultivates day and night without pause, so Sang Zhi eagerly brings him a bowl of red bean and coix seed porridge she's carefully simmered. Only then does she learn he's allergic to red beans...
Mu Chao is punished with a kneeling penance for a mistake. Sang Zhi sneaks in to bring him pastries, only to learn afterward that someone reported her. Mu Chao gets several lashes for it...
Everyone finally understands: "Junior Sister usually tells us not to bully Mu Chao, but who knew she wanted to do it herself!"
Sang Zhi wipes away her tears. "I'm sorry! I was actually just trying to win him over!!"
So Sang Zhi works even harder to win Mu Chao over!
Until she takes out a whip she's carefully sewn and tries to score affection points with Mu Chao,
when the System, silent for ages, suddenly erupts:
[Host, I'm sorry! I got it wrong!]
[You're actually the villain, and your mission is to bully the male lead mercilessly!!]
Then, after a pause, it adds:
[Wait, why does it say here that you've been bullying the male lead the whole time?]
Sang Zhi looks at the male lead standing before her. Her eyelid twitches, and without thinking, she takes out the whip and taps it against his face.
In a haughty tone, she says, "You refused the wine only to drink the punishment. You're nothing but a dog I tease when I'm bored!"
A vivid red mark appears on the young man's fair face. Sang Zhi meets Mu Chao's almost murderous gaze and instinctively flees.
For the next few days, she goes out of her way to avoid him.
*
Mu Chao's mother is the goddess beloved by everyone in the sect, while his father is the most brutal demon in the Ghost Cavern. Born of an immortal and a demon, he is naturally scorned by everyone in the sect.
One day, as he kneels in the snow as punishment, the junior sister beloved by everyone in the sect suddenly appears. She reaches out her soft, fair hand and takes his fingertips, chilled by the snow, in hers. In an innocent, guileless voice, she says:
"Mu Chao, get up."
From then on, Mu Chao discovers that although Sang Zhi is always causing trouble for him, she also offers him her whole heart. He is sure she must have some ulterior motive.
But later, he realizes Sang Zhi might really just be a little dumb...
*
That night, Sang Zhi is trying to figure out how to be a good villain when a figure climbs in through the window. The candles in the room go out at the same time.
In the bright moonlight, Mu Chao puts the whip into Sang Zhi's hand and bends close, his lips brushing her flushed ear.
"Dear Zhi Zhi, hit me if you want to."
Sang Zhi grips the whip and looks at the young man before her. His eyes are red at the corners, and he looks a little aggrieved after being neglected lately.
She's the villain, isn't she? So why is the male lead begging her to bully him?
Bright, cheerful little sun × aloof, cold, pitiful young man
Theme: Love and hate alike can make people stronger
I was eager to carry the shovel, this place is really good, I dug a hole - "I am the villain after doing this for a long time?" Babies, click on the column to collect it [Spread flowers][Spread flowers] Sang Zhi traveled into the fantasy novel, and after the system gave her the task of "Strategy for the Fragile, Beautiful, Strong and Tragic Male Protagonist", she disappeared. Sang Zhi looked at the young man kneeling in the snow with his back straight and a handsome face, clenching his fists: "No problem, I have read the Thirty-Six Strategies!" So, Sang Zhi began to work hard to conquer the male protagonist. Mu Chao was betrayed by his sect disciples and fell injured in the damp hell. Sang Zhi rushed to save him, but he dislocated Mu Chao's hand... Mu Chao practiced the exercises day and night. Sang Zhi diligently presented her carefully cooked red bean and coix seed porridge, and then she found out that Mu Chao was allergic to red beans... Mu Chao was punished to kneel down for making a mistake, and Sang Zhi sneaked in to give him cakes. It was only later that he found out that the incident had been reported, and Mu Chao was whipped several times... Everyone suddenly realized: Junior sister usually doesn't let us bully Mu Chao, but unexpectedly she wants to do it herself! Sang Zhi wiped away tears: I'm sorry, actually I just wanted to attack him!! For this reason, Sang Zhi worked harder to conquer Mu Chao! Until she took out the carefully sewn whip and showed her favor in front of Mu Chao, The system that had been silent for a long time suddenly emitted a violent beep—— [Host, I'm sorry! I made a mistake! [Actually, you are the villain, and your mission is to bully the male protagonist!! Then, after a pause, he added: [Wait a minute, why does it appear here that you have been bullying the male protagonist? Sang Zhi looked at the male protagonist standing in front of him, his eyelids twitched, and without thinking, he took out a whip and slapped him on the face. His tone was arrogant: "If you don't drink the toast, you'll have to drink as a penalty. You're just a dog I tease when I'm bored!" A bright red mark instantly appeared on the young man's fair face. Sang Zhi met Mu Chao's almost cannibalistic eyes and ran away subconsciously. In the next few days, she deliberately avoided Mu Chao. Mu Chao's mother is a goddess respected by everyone in the sect, but his father is the most brutal demon in the Evil Ghost Cave. As a being born from the union of immortals and demons, he is naturally despised by everyone in the sect. On that day when he was forced to kneel in the snow, the little junior sister who was loved by everyone in the sect suddenly appeared, stretched out her soft white hand, held his fingertips that were frozen by the snow, and said to him in an innocent tone: "Mu Chao, get up." After that, Mu Chao discovered that although Sang Zhi always caused trouble for him, he still showed his sincerity to him. He felt that this person must have ulterior motives. But later he discovered that Sang Zhi seemed to be just too stupid... That night, Sang Zhi was thinking about how to be a good villain, when a figure came in through the window, and the candles in the room were extinguished. Under the bright moonlight, Mu Chao put the whip into Sang Zhi's hand, leaned over and brushed his lips against Sang Zhi's red ears. "It's so nice to know. If you want to fight, you can fight." Sang Zhi held the whip and looked at the young man in front of him whose eyes were red and slightly aggrieved due to the recent neglect. Is she a villain? Why is the hero still begging her to humiliate him? The happy and bright little sun × the arrogant and cold little pitiful one
