Didn't You Say You Didn't Want Any Other Love Interests? [Book Transmigration]

*Villainous bottom x System top

Xiao Fuxue is the aloof, distant villain in a book. The plot dictates that after his beloved dies, he goes mad cultivating his powers and is ultimately killed when the protagonist pierces his heart with a single sword thrust.

But Xiao Fuxue is a slow-witted, straight man who only knows how to focus on cultivation. He never notices that his beloved has come to his house three times and been unable to get inside.

His beloved leaves for good, swearing never to see Xiao Fuxue again.

So the Transmigration Bureau sends its star employee, Xie Nishu, to take the beloved’s place and move the plot forward.

His first task is to become Xiao Fuxue’s beloved.

Under pressure from his family, Xiao Fuxue takes a new male wife. The new husband is enthusiastic about adding concubines to the household, bringing in seven or eight at a time.

He also keeps doing all kinds of bizarre, incomprehensible things.

Though they’ve been married for three months, Xiao Fuxue can’t even remember what his husband looks like.

After failing his missions, Xie Nishu applies for seven or eight different bodies, all of which marry into Xiao Fuxue’s household. Every day, he switches bodies to seduce Xiao Fuxue.

Xie Nishu applies for the body of the deceased beloved, whose character is that of a gentle, beautiful scholar.

Xiao Fuxue, married for three months: May I ask who you are?

A beautiful courtesan sashays into the study.

Xiao Fuxue: You’ll strain your back doing that.

A beautiful, coquettish woman brings Xiao Fuxue tea and simpers at him.

Xiao Fuxue: You’re too restless. You’ll never reach the heights of cultivation like that.

Xie Nishu: Slowly emits a question mark?

Darling, if you won’t cooperate, how am I supposed to become your beloved?

*

While Xie Nishu is using one body, his other bodies continue to act out their assigned roles.

Half a year later, he finally manages to lure Xiao Fuxue to his courtyard. At last, the mission is making progress

The coquettish beauty’s programmed persona: Boohoo, husband, I’ve fainted...

Xiao Fuxue: If you’re sick, you need treatment. I’ll go check on her.

Xie Nishu: Wait, I’ve already taken my pants off, and you’re just... just leaving?

Bonus scene:

Xiao Fuxue saves several homeless young men and brings them home to care for them.

Xie Nishu: Those aren’t my other selves! I’ve been trying so hard, so why are you looking for someone else?

Boohoo, didn’t we agree there wouldn’t be any other love interests?

Xie Nishu: Love is knocking at the door.

Xiao Fuxue: My heart is sealed in concrete, and the windows are welded shut. Keep away.
