Nozaki, a shoujo manga artist, has a good first impression of the transfer student sitting in front of him. The more he learns, the more he feels he's found a hidden gem.
Profile: transfer student, top of the year, former swimmer, current swim club manager, and has amazing chemistry with the swim club captain.
Yabai, that's one for the character profile collection!
Nozaki discovers that Furuya Ai is also great at drawing. He watches the person in front of him move his pencil, and his admiration turns to utter bewilderment.
Well-defined lines leap onto the page, full of life and beauty.
All Nozaki can say is: You can't draw anything below the neck in shoujo manga, hey!
Furuya Ai is puzzled and decides to take him to the swim club to broaden his horizons.
Sosuke doesn't have much of an impression of the transfer student Rin mentioned, until one day, Furuya Ai comes by to deliver something and finds himself face-to-face with Sosuke, who's standing beside Rin.
Yabai, it's my former teammate who knows my secret!
Sosuke goes on alert.
Observation 1: On Furuya Ai's first day joining the swim club, everyone likes the new manager.
Observation 2: On White Day, Furuya Ai wins lots of plushies, one for every member of the swim club. Rin, the captain, gets a particularly big little shark plushie.
Observation 3: Furuya Ai puts on a clownfish pendant. That same day, the usually minimalist Captain Rin also switches to a little shark pendant.
Sosuke: ...!?
Things start getting weird.
