Qian Baihua, a famous workaholic whose dream is to make a fortune, has been the neighborhood's most detested "other people's child" since childhood, especially by Kuroo Tetsurou.
Years later, at a godforsaken hour when she was locked in a life-or-death struggle with a deadline, a scam message arrived from her long-lost former neighbor, Kozume Kenma. That was how she got roped into the whole thing.
As co-founder and CFO of Bouncing Ball, a rising star in the gaming and livestreaming industry, her daily routine includes not only managing the company and making business decisions, but also:
1. Dragging the chairman out of his late-night livestreams to work overtime.
2. Listening to the volleyball association's partners try to con her, then conning them right back.
3. Turning down workplace advances from the people in the first two items.
"Have you made enough money to be saying things like that?" Qian Baihua declared righteously. "Can't you have a little ambition?"
