[HP] The Crown Is His

Young heir to a family of strategists x Tom Riddle

I offer you the crown. I will fall into darkness with you. I am as ambitious as you are. I will always keep my head and plan the world for you. I will stand by your side.

You are my liege, the enlightened ruler I have chosen for this world. We will not lose.

"My name is Zhao. In the language of my homeland, it means 'light.'"

"I'm not as lucky as you. Tom is such an ordinary name. Walk down the street and call out 'Tom.' I bet at least one in ten men, if not three in ten, will turn around."

"Your book is fascinating. Is your ruler called an emperor? You said your family has served the emperor for generations, so am I the emperor you found? Does that mean I have a father of noble birth?"

"My liege, you haven't understood my book."

"Zhao, light. It really is like the sun. You can tell at a glance that you're a cherished child, spoiled by your parents. I'm so jealous!"

"I bear bright treasures, precious jade in my arms. I long to display them, yet no one would take them!"

"Everyone loves a treasure like Zhao Hua. The world may covet him, but only I can keep him all to myself."

"If bloodline matters so much, then I must be a Muggle, the very kind my liege now despises and seeks to destroy."

"Don't you understand? It's just an excuse to exploit the resources of pure-bloods. By their logic, I'm only a half-blood myself."

"A liege always needs a great banner to rally under. This one is too small. We need a new force to keep the others in check."

"Mm."

"Does anyone in this world love you?"

"He always loves me. Feeling is a necessary means. You're behind the times, Dumbledore."
