When a Hopeless Romantic Starts Dreaming

This novel is also known as "If You're Still a Virgin at Thirty, You Can Get It On with Your Crush in Your Dreams"

Zhu Minglan has been dreaming about her roommate's older brother a lot lately. In real life, he's cold and aloof, the ascetic type, but in her dreams he's a lovesick fool, completely lost in romance.

Dreaming about a handsome guy is great, but compared to a successful older man, she prefers a lively college boy.

Besides, her roommate's brother is always so considerate. Whenever he visits his sibling, he brings her a snack, too. This proper, respectable man clings to her in her dreams, begging for hugs and kisses as if he can't use his limbs. Zhu Minglan feels terribly sorry about it, so whenever she runs into him, she can only keep her distance.

But even though she resists the idea, she can't help getting close to him in her dreams.

She must be craving a man.

Thinking this, Zhu Minglan finds herself a sunny, handsome college boy.

Zhuang Sihuai has always scorned romance. At thirty, he falls in love for the first time, and his feelings surge like a flood, impossible to contain.

Every night, he dreams of Minglan. Just as he imagines, they watch the sunset and dawn, embrace and kiss, and fall asleep laughing. He whispers sweet nothings in her ear, and she answers every one. They are made for each other, inseparable.

But dreams always end. He keeps making excuses to see her, only to receive a polite greeting and a distant figure, her emotions unreadable.

At a loss, he decides to hire outside help, only to find out she's dating someone...

SC. The female lead dates someone briefly.

The male lead has a weak sense of morality. Even while the female lead is dating someone else, he keeps having those steamy dreams.
