As a socially anxious person, Lin Wei had never been much of a talker. She spoke to people only when necessary, and her life as a student consisted of nothing but school and home.

As a socially anxious person, Lin Wei bought a house as soon as she graduated, shut herself away, and became a freelance illustrator who rarely left home.

As a socially anxious person, Lin Wei only dared to date online. When her partner asked to video chat, she deleted her newly official boyfriend in the middle of the night without explanation and broke up with him unilaterally.

What could she do? She was just too socially anxious.

A month later, Lin Wei ran into the handsome new neighbor who had just moved in next door. Slim waist, long legs, black-rimmed glasses, and a languid air about him. He was exactly her type: a delicate, understated Japanese pretty boy.

As a socially anxious person, Lin Wei only dared to harbor a tiny, wicked thought in private.

But she never expected the handsome guy to knock on her door that very night and ask to borrow a bottle of shampoo.

The next day, he brought her a meal he'd cooked himself to thank her.

On the third day, he knocked again and asked if he could use her Wi-Fi.

On the fourth day, he gave her a rare collectible card of an anime character she loved.

In just one week, she had even learned his name: Shu Lian.

Later, a water outage led her to accidentally catch sight of his eight-pack abs beneath his soaked, thin shirt.

Later still, his kitchen blew up, and she was bewitched into letting him stay with her.

Shu Lian was a model roommate. He always kept the place tidy, took care of all her meals, and was nice to look at.

But somehow, she started losing a lot of little things. At night, she could always hear him pacing outside her door. Whenever she opened it, there was no one there.

One sleepless night, as she lay flat in bed, she heard the faint sound of her door opening and closing. A shadow fell over her, and beneath the heat of someone's breath, she felt a slightly cool kiss.

The moment their lips met, Lin Wei realized she was actually a little excited.

After they got together, they were inseparable. One day, he took her to see his newly renovated home.

When he opened one of the doors, she saw her photos covering the walls, and a storage box in the corner filled with all the little things she'd lost.

Shu Lian stared at her without a word, as if waiting to see fear and retreat in her eyes.

The next moment, Lin Wei looked up at him, deeply moved:

"Baby, you like me this much..."

Much later, Lin Wei accidentally discovered that Shu Lian was the same online boyfriend she'd unilaterally broken up with. In other words, he had gone to all the trouble of moving to another city just to find her.

After learning the truth, she thought:

#My boyfriend really loves me so much#

#But what do I do if my boyfriend loves me too much?#
