The Golden Retriever and His Caretaker

The sad golden retriever curled up in the corner, letting the rain fall on him. He looked just like someone had abandoned him.

"Are you all right?" Yu Manrou tilted her umbrella a little toward Lian Cheng, shielding him from the rain.

The little golden retriever suddenly understood: So I haven't been abandoned. I just haven't met the caretaker who's meant for me yet...

Yu Manrou's personality is just like her name: unhurried and calm, never impatient or flustered. She does everything slowly, but she doesn't think of it as being slow. She calls it taking her time.

"What's so special about getting to class an hour early every day? You're making a fuss over nothing..."

"...But you get here early because you walk so slowly, right?" the big golden retriever piped up.

"Shut up!"

"Oh..." (crestfallen)

Yu Manrou sighed. Oh well. She chose him with her own terrible eyesight, so she has to spoil her boyfriend... even if this golden retriever keeps undermining her...

Lian Cheng, held in Yu Manrou's arms, gave his childhood friend a thumbs-up: Plan successful!

The happiest thing in the world: You aren't my second choice. You were the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with from the very beginning.
