Heterodox Liberation Therapy Center

Fang Jingmo spent five years on his undergraduate degree, three years on his master's, and four years on his doctorate,

finally earning his license to practice as a psychotherapist.

But he graduated straight into unemployment. The psychotherapy industry was already severely oversaturated,

and all the jobs were looking for seasoned therapists with twenty years of experience.

There was no room for new graduates at all.

With nowhere else to turn,

he applied for an interview at the Heretic Liberation Therapy Center.

The Heretic Liberation Therapy Center did hire psychotherapists, but its patients were heretics whose inner worlds were extremely dangerous.

Their minds might hold an apocalyptic storm of thunder and lightning, a maze with no way out, or emotions steeped in despair and self-destruction. The slightest mistake could leave a psychotherapist lost in the patient's mental torrent, permanently reduced to a vegetative state.

But... he couldn't find any other job!

Fang Jingmo: I'm completely falling apart.

The director of the Liberation Therapy Center thought highly of him, praising Fang Jingmo as the most energetic intern of the year.

Fang Jingmo: Can I ask what happened to the other interns who weren't energetic?

Director: They lost their "vitality."

Fang Jingmo: ...

Would it still be in time for him to buy insurance?
