Bi Xiao and Peng Xusheng grew up together. They were childhood friends, but neither could stand the other.

Before turning twenty, Bi Xiao got annoyed every time he saw Peng Xusheng. He could barely stand being in the same room as him.

On the first day of his twentieth year, Bi Xiao had an argument with Peng Xusheng, got into a fight with him, and ended up in bed with him.

Neither of them expected that after twenty years as sworn enemies, they'd become boyfriends.

But their happiness didn't last. They broke up soon afterward and went their separate ways.

A few years later, Bi Xiao went to have a wisdom tooth pulled.

The thing Bi Xiao feared most in life was getting a tooth pulled.

But as luck would have it, Peng Xusheng was a dentist.

Bi Xiao lay anxiously in the dental chair.

Someone suddenly came over and gently patted the back of his hand.

"It's okay."

Bi Xiao: Damn, why does that voice sound so familiar?

He looked up and saw his ex-boyfriend's face.

But his ex-boyfriend gripped his hand tightly. "Don't move."

After the procedure, Bi Xiao had a wad of cotton in his mouth and could only make little whimpering sounds.

He took the tissue Peng Xusheng handed him and let go of his hand.

Out of basic human decency, he asked, "How's your hand?"

Peng Xusheng held it out. Two clear scratches marked the skin.

He held his hand in front of Bi Xiao and said, "Buy me dinner."
