Fujiwara Shu, my middle school classmate, became my deskmate. He was a key member of the kyudo club, and with that incredibly handsome face, I couldn't help falling for him whenever his violet eyes turned my way. But as someone who likes staying home, I still think a two-dimensional wife is the best. Okay, I only had a crush for a second.
Well, as his deskmate, sometimes I helped him receive love letters from girls, passed messages along, and took care of other little things.
Later we started dating, but nothing really changed between us.
Maybe it's just my imagination, but Fujiwara seems like he has a bit of a natural dark side.
My boyfriend isn't much of a talker, but I don't mind quietly walking home together.
I like reading beneath the wisteria trellis behind the school. The kyudo club is right beside it, and listening to the sound of the bowstring as Fujiwara shoots makes for incredibly good sleep.
Ah, I can't remember the rules of archery and often get confused about where his matches are, but for some reason, the sound of Fujiwara's bowstring is so soothing. The wind blows past, and it's like white noise for sleeping (not really).
Me: I'll watch your match today.
Fujiwara: Don't fall asleep again.
It was hard to tell whether Fujiwara was happy or angry. His face was perfectly calm.
Me: Why are you looking at me like that? I'll cheer you on through the whole match.
Fujiwara: Okay.
Then I watched him stand up and pick up his bow, his posture tall and straight.
Ah, I fell for him again in that moment!
[I'm terrible at writing blurbs. At heart, this is just middle school kids falling in love. OOC character warning. The story takes place in middle school and is a crossover with Horimiya, The Prince of Tennis, and Jujutsu Kaisen (in a heavily altered parallel world). The two side couples don't get much screen time. Updates are irregular, but may become more consistent later.
The Prince of Tennis pairing is an original character pairing; the others are canon. BG. Writing this for love. There are too few stories about the Minato Kai kyudo club, so I had to cook one up myself.]
