After Escaping My Obsessive Wife's Control

After being controlled by Ji Mingsui for eleven years, Song Yu finally gets a chance to escape her grasp.

The bad news: She gets into a car accident while fleeing and dies on the spot.

The good news: She is reborn eleven years in the past.

Eleven years earlier, fresh out of college, Song Yu founded an agency, and Ji Mingsui was one of the employees she personally hired in the early days of the business.

Ji Mingsui seems gentle, kind, and harmless, but in reality she is an obsessive, disturbed lunatic with an overwhelming possessive streak.

Ji Mingsui schemed to get close to her, monitoring her every move until she had Song Yu wrapped around her finger.

Reborn eleven years in the past, Song Yu swears she will stay away from Ji Mingsui this time.

She makes a fist in front of the mirror and vows, “Freedom!”

“I want nothing but freedom in this life!”

Five minutes later, Song Yu is enjoying her freedom to the fullest. Looking around the shabby one-bedroom apartment she rented right after college, she wrinkles her nose in disdain.

This dump isn’t even as big as the walk-in closet Ji Mingsui prepared for her eleven years later.

An hour later, just as she’s about to head to work, Song Yu sees her beat-up secondhand car, which breaks down all the time, parked in the community lot. She pouts in disappointment.

Ji Mingsui’s thirty-third birthday gift to her was twelve sports cars in different styles. At twenty-two, she has to drive a clunker to work.

Three hours later...

1. This is a sweet little story about someone who was too young to appreciate obsession and mistook freedom for a treasure.

2. Pure fluff.

3. Captive-bird seme x business magnate uke. Both are hopeless romantics.

4. Both are reborn.

5. They were reborn because of the System.

Theme: Strive together and build a better life.
