Vampire Diaries

A Savage Gentleman and a Proud Young Woman

Though Chadel is a high-ranking vampire, he has an East Asian face, with pitch-black eyes and short black hair. These are what set him on the path to becoming a heretic among the vampires.

When he sees a human girl with the same East Asian features tied to a stake and publicly sentenced to be burned, perhaps called by the blood they share, his body reacts before his mind can.

He spirits away the scholar from Modo Academy, a human heretic condemned by the masses.

The night before, the two heretics had met in the dark forest of Fennomont.

The panicked girl runs straight into a vampire's arms and calmly tells him:

"Save me."

Chadel gives her his answer the next day:

"Perhaps you'd be willing to make a brief pact with me, beautiful human miss."

Chadel Grinton's diary consists of seven pages, recording what he witnessed during his 49 days in Fennomont.

Forty-nine days later, Chadel is expelled from vampire territory for violating the Blood Covenant. After that, he vanishes without a trace, and no one knows where he went.

It seems everyone in this age is pursuing extreme eccentricity, such as obsession and madness, to prove how unconventional and unique they are, and yet they are adored by all.

...I only want to be a modest and polite, ordinary person.

PS: The vampires in this story are unconventional and entirely fictional. No need to fact-check. This is not written in diary form.
