You, Chasing the Stars [Reborn]

Coming soon: The Villainess in an Explicit Novel

Life is full of surprises. After waking up, Li Li discovered that she had returned to the past, twenty years ago.

Back then, she was still a washed-up actress struggling to make ends meet.

The moment she opened her eyes, she made up her mind: this time, she absolutely wouldn't repeat her old mistakes. Eyes open, and straight to work.

Li Li had imagined meeting her ex again at the Starry Lights Awards, holding the Best Actress trophy and greeting Jing Shengxi with poise and dignity.

With a single smile, they would put their past grievances behind them.

But life is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you'll get next.

Five years after they broke up, Li Li showed up with a gift to plead for an intern, then stumbled on the stairs and fell right in front of him.

Her ex was now a star with incredible connections and a glittering future. He couldn't afford even the slightest scandal.

She thought she should be a good ex-girlfriend.

Jing Shengxi had never forgiven Li Li. He resented the way she had casually walked away, leaving him to wait for years, until even as he lay gravely ill, he was still murmuring her name.

When he opened his eyes, his first thought was that he had to find Li Li.

He thought that if she would only talk to him, he would forgive her.

But this former girlfriend treated him like a stranger.

This wasn't how the romantic dramas he usually watched went! Weren't their eyes supposed to meet, sparks supposed to fly, and the two of them supposed to realize they still had feelings for each other?

As Li Li ran with all her might to chase her dreams, Jing Shengxi followed close behind, pursuing her without ever tiring.

Theme: Dreams are worth fighting for.
