My Dead Ex-Boyfriend Won't Leave Me Alone

They say a proper ex-boyfriend should be like someone who's passed away: vanish without a trace and never bother you again.

But when Meng Zhengyi suddenly appeared in front of Wu Ke, her first reaction was to almost start chanting prayers and burning incense right then and there.

The man couldn't even manage to stay dead properly. He'd become a clingy, vengeful ghost.

Meng Zhengyi had spent years undercover, lying low in the shadows, biding his time and plotting. He was just one step away from bringing down the criminal hideout when a mole inside his team struck from behind. All the clues vanished overnight, his undercover identity was completely exposed, and he ended up forced to disappear into retirement, his fate unknown.

Everyone else thought he had vanished from the world for good, gone cold for good.

Only Wu Ke had the bad luck to deal with him. Though her ex-boyfriend had retired from the scene, his ghost refused to leave, popping up in front of her every single day.

She couldn't chase him away, couldn't avoid him, and couldn't shake him off. He was the most persistent ex-boyfriend in the paranormal world.

The male lead initiates the breakup to protect the female lead.
