Naruto: A Stunning Debut

Naruto fan fiction.

"If you could break through the dimensional barrier and come to the world of Naruto, what would you most want to do?"

"Be there as he grows up."

"Could you elaborate?"

"Stand up for him when people call him a monster. Fill in for his clones when he wants to play cards. Protect him when he's in danger. And... laugh with him in every happy moment, and tell him in every sad one: Naruto, I'm here."

"Please answer honestly."

"...I want to keep my sun all to myself. Because... a world without the Seventh Hokage would be meaningless to me."

The only consolation in the dumpster fire that is Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is that Kawaki is acting out my exact mental state. I am openly, shamelessly jealous.

I have good reason to suspect Ikemoto is a bitter, obsessive Naruto fan who uses ghostwriting as a cover to indulge himself. Damn it, he can get away with this because I can't draw.

Bad news: I can't draw.

Good news: I can type.

Theme: Daydreams.
