Xie Zhiyan became famous at a young age, emerging as a top-tier star as soon as he debuted. He went from singing to acting, and by the age of twenty-two had won so many awards that people in the industry nicknamed him the Box Office God of Wealth.
Yet the superstar admired by countless people developed a severe eating disorder. He sought treatment all over the country, but only grew thinner by the day, surviving on IV nutrition.
He heard that the traditional Chinese medicine clinic run by the Yu family in Jingbei had reopened. Its new head was a female doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, known for miraculous cures and for specializing in difficult cases.
His agent brought Xie Zhiyan to the clinic.
Yu Qing had been busy until the afternoon. When no one was around, she sat in the consultation room to enjoy lunch. Holding a lovely food container, she ate heartily, with no regard for appearances.
Xie Zhiyan stood at the doorway, quietly watching the doctor enjoy her meal. Only after she finished and looked up did she notice the man at the door.
The moment their eyes met,
Xie Zhiyan saw a grain of rice at the corner of her mouth, and his stomach growled.
Later...
Xie Zhiyan discovered that he had no appetite at all whenever Yu Qing wasn't in front of him.
Everyone knew the Yu family of Jingbei was a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners. But the previous head had closed the clinic due to illness, and the Yu family's clinic in Jingbei had remained shut ever since. Not long after Yu Qing took over...
Yu Qing joined a hit countryside variety show to promote traditional Chinese medicine.
And then...
To everyone's surprise, Xie Zhiyan's arrival turned the slow-living show into a dating show.
