On New Year’s Day, seven-year-old Kinomoto Aoi received a gift from an elder in Britain: a magic wand!
Long-awaited magic wand in hand, Kinomoto Aoi excitedly waved it at the Clow Book containing the Sakura Cards. When she opened her eyes, she had arrived in another world.
The good news: Kero, the guardian beast sealed inside her mother’s magic book, had come with her, and so had the big red envelopes her uncle Toya and aunt Yukito had just given her.
The bad news: The Clow Book was completely empty, and her magic didn’t work in this other world.
Then she discovered that her new friends had the potential to use magic. With tears in her eyes, Kinomoto Aoi looked at them: Please, please help me find the Sakura Cards!
When the young members of the police academy group discovered that the magic wand came with a costume-change feature (cross-dressing), they took a few steps back. “Can we say no?”

At twenty-nine, Kinomoto Aoi had become a great magician. One day, she realized that something about her world had changed.
More precisely, the crime rate had suddenly shot up. The TV news reported new cases every day, and when she saw a familiar police officer, she realized that her world might have merged with another one.
Kinomoto Aoi happily went to visit her childhood friends. But when she excitedly arrived at their homes, she discovered that they had all died in the line of duty!!!
The good news: Thanks to magic, their souls seemed to still be in this world.
The bad news: Magic couldn’t bring them back to life. However...
So the great magician Kinomoto Aoi went off in tears to find each of their souls. She used up all her magic and turned them into guardian beasts (dolls) just like Kero...
Kero: Hmph! You used to laugh at me for being a stuffed doll. Take a look at yourselves now!

One day, Rei Furuya got back to his safe house at four in the morning after working late. Just as he was about to go to sleep, a doll came out of nowhere and smothered him in the butt.
After Rei Furuya, nearly suffocated, pushed the dolls away, he realized they looked an awful lot like those awful fellow officers of his.

After going through a great deal of trouble, a certain elementary school shinigami stole a USB drive from a certain blond waiter. It looked very important and might have been connected to the Organization.
But when he opened it, it was full of pictures of magical girls.
No, on closer inspection, one of the girls, with blond hair and dark skin, looked exactly like the blond, dark-skinned waiter. She was just like his biological daughter.
The other magical girls also looked a little like police officers he had met or heard about, all of whom had died in the line of duty.
The little shinigami remembered that those officers had been childhood friends. Wait, was this the kind of thing boys back then were into?
Thinking about that person’s identity as an undercover agent in the Organization, the little elementary school student fell silent.
