Synopsis

Jinpei Matsuda got tricked by his childhood friend into working at a host club as a host (not really), where he met a girl who spent an outrageous amount of money on him.

As a police officer, he couldn't reveal his identity outright, so he could only accept her advances for now, thinking he'd explain everything the next time they met.

But his 'girlfriend' seemed awfully busy, and it took a long time for that next meeting to come around.

One day, Amuro Tooru received a mission. An Organization executive who had once stood him up wanted him to pose as a host to help with the operation.

With no other choice, he went along, only to discover that the executive was actually his new rookie subordinate, and that she was also Kei's childhood friend.

The ridiculous part was that she wanted him to pretend to be her new love interest to trick some tousle-haired fellow officer!

She sure knows how to 'choose' people!

1. The heroine is a slacker in the liquor company. Her alcohol content is practically nonexistent, and she hopes the company goes bankrupt every day. She's not a genius either. She's also a writer on the side and loves to let her imagination run wild. She's adorable.

2. The heroine's CP is Matsuda. This is a BG novel.

3. The System is just there for laughs. A dumb System makes for plenty of fun.

4. The characters belong to the original work. Any OOC is my doing.

5. The main focus is Detective Conan, but some anime characters the author likes may wander in. You can still enjoy the story without knowing them…
