Stories of redemption, comebacks, and scum-getting-what-they-deserve showdowns are everywhere. The deranged cultists aren't about to be left behind, either. They're popping up all over the place, shipping the strangest couples.
These include, but aren't limited to, green tea omegas, white-lotus white moonlights, delicate little flowers, scheming green tea bitches, and whimpering little females. Their destined partners are none other than the canonical protagonists of scumbag-top stories: the bottom protagonists.
So the wicked second male leads in these worlds all awaken and turn their attention to the bottom protagonists.
World One:
In a gorgeous AO romance about a playboy reforming his ways, you're the green tea omega who clings to the top protagonist, trying to seduce him into marking you during your heat and secure your position.
The awakened green tea omega figures the top protagonist is handsome, rich, and influential. He might as well keep him hooked. Money and good looks are all that matter, and it's just for fun, so there's nothing to fear. Until he turns around and sees the top protagonist's fiance, the world's destined bottom protagonist.
Green tea omega: Hmm...
Suddenly, I don't think his wife is a bad choice either. ^^
Later, the bottom protagonist ascends the throne, brings him back to the imperial palace, and lifts his chin. "Between him and me, who do you really like?"

World Two:
In a substitute-themed tragic romance, you're the white-lotus white moonlight whom the top protagonist cherishes above all. Now that you've returned home, you want to marry into a wealthy family. Not only do you make the top protagonist mistreat and discard his substitute for your sake, you also want one of his kidneys.
At first, the awakened white-lotus white moonlight is consumed by hatred. He only wants to use this chance to break them up once and for all, and make the substitute bottom protagonist understand that he's nothing but a plaything unworthy of the upper class!
But when he actually sees the other man tossed into the pouring rain, miserable and pitiful, revealing a face that looks like his, but not quite...
The white moonlight feels a strange stirring inside, then takes him home.
And so the substitute bottom becomes a devoted husband and a top, rubbing his lips as he asks, "Do you love me a little more today?"

In a post-apocalyptic rebirth story, you're the delicate little flower who forced the bottom protagonist to die horribly in a zombie horde in his previous life. This time, the bottom protagonist returns, reborn with a heart full of resentment and hatred, while you know nothing about it.

1. This is a self-indulgent passion project, as the title suggests, about bottoms turning tops. I'm mainly practicing writing romance. There's a 90% chance it won't make logical sense.
