In New Calendar Year 721, the digitization of consciousness had reached full maturity. While the masses were immersed in virtual worlds, the elite had already begun seeking greater thrills in reality, and modified car racing became all the rage. Elite competitors modified their cars without limits, built extreme real-world tracks, and recruited drivers to race. Drivers' identities didn't matter, and neither did their lives. According to statistics, the fatality rate among drivers once reached 90%. They were called expendable, yet countless people continued to flock to the sport year after year. Because with an entry ticket, they could become temporary residents of Upper City. Win the championship, and they could bring one person with them and receive permanent residency, gaining access to the best resources. In New Calendar Year 771, the 50th modified racing championship was about to begin. In Lower City, Qu Shiyi remained silent for a long time before finally tearing down the recruitment notice. She was going to take someone to Upper City. PS: Qu Shiyi only drives, she doesn't modify cars. Theme: Stay positive and keep moving forward.
