- Also known as "Me: an ordinary person. My childhood friend: the consciousness of the world. The fluffy animals I raise: interstellar big shots". Too long, crossed out.
In his previous life, Xia Yan was a poor college student who took all kinds of part-time jobs to earn money, and ultimately died of overwork.
After dying, Xia Yan transmigrated into an orphan from the unfinished interstellar progression novel he'd written. He'd grown up in an orphanage on a barren planet and was an ordinary person with no spirit form.
In this life, Xia Yan decided to stop pushing himself and just live. After growing up, he and his childhood friend ran a fluffy-animal cafe together to make ends meet.
He made coffee and desserts, while his childhood friend rescued all kinds of injured fluffy animals.
The fluffy animals were all well-behaved and good at "bringing in customers," earning the cafe a tidy profit.

Xia Yan had found his childhood friend near the orphanage not long after transmigrating.
His childhood friend was perfect in every way. He was handsome, with a narrow waist, long legs, and eight-pack abs, and he was very kindhearted. The only problem was that his brain was "a little off." He was always saying ridiculous things, like asking which planet Xia Yan liked and saying he wanted to give it to him.
Xia Yan let it go in one ear and out the other, never taking it to heart.

Time quickly advanced to the year 456 of the Star Calendar.
According to the novel's plot, interstellar beasts would awaken one by one that year, and an interstellar war was about to erupt. The protagonist and antagonist would appear in quick succession, and every planet except the capital planet would be thrown into chaos.
Xia Yan took all the savings he'd accumulated over the years and brought his family to the capital planet to settle down and take refuge.
At first, Xia Yan rented a tiny shop on the expensive capital planet and kept running the fluffy-animal cafe, living an ordinary life.
Let the protagonist, antagonist, and interstellar beasts do whatever they wanted. Ordinary people just had to try to survive. Saving the world wasn't something extras like them needed to worry about.
But gradually, Xia Yan realized there was something strange about the fluffy animals at home. Some displayed healing-type spiritual powers, some had enhancement-type powers, and others had plant-type powers... They also kept sneaking out and bringing back all kinds of treasures.
Before long, all sorts of big shots started visiting Xia Yan's cafe, spending a fortune just to pet the fluffy animals.
Later, Xia Yan finally realized that the one with a problem was probably his childhood friend.
All his childhood friend had to do was move a finger, and even the strongest male lead and the toughest antagonist in the novel were instantly pinned down, unable to move.
The interstellar war never happened, and the interstellar beasts never awakened. They were all raised by him until they were sleek, fluffy, clingy, and picky.
And there was nothing wrong with his childhood friend's brain, either.
Except that he was a little love-struck.
Over him.

4. This may be a sweet, slice-of-life, business-management story.
