The Coach Is Warming Up [Esports]

When Yan Mo woke up, he found himself at an interview at the Zero Club.

But he'd retired ten years ago!

He soon realized he wasn't interviewing to be a professional player, but applying to be a coach!

Even more surprising, he was hired after casually discussing tactics that had been outdated for ages.

This world was actually a parallel timeline from twenty years ago!

He'd thought that his ten-year career as a professional player in his previous life had already killed his passion for Tides.

But as he looked at its ancient, rough interface and heard the words, "Tides pull locked on," Yan Mo knew he would return to that fiercely competitive arena one day.

In this life, even as a coach, he would lead China's Tides pros past the blockade imposed by the Korean, European, and American professional leagues and reach the top of the world!

But less than a week after starting the job, he ran into an epic problem.

The support player on his team had packed up the toilet paper and run off in the middle of the night!

All he left behind was a note that read: "With conditions this lousy, not even a dog would come!"

Yan Mo looked around. The roof leaked, the wooden door was crumbling, the window was broken, and the table was piled with instant noodle cups...

Ha, things really were a little rough.

The qualifiers were just one day away.

Just as he was at his wits' end, the bottom-lane player whose partner had run away (not his wife) spoke up: "Coach, let's warm up. It's time to get on stage."
