As it turns out, there's definitely a market for a scheming little kept man.
She gets caught in a downpour after work, and the ride-hailing app says she'll have to wait an hour. Before she can even tap "Confirm," her kept little green tea calls to say he's coming to pick her up. Every morning, a healthy, delicious diet meal is waiting on the table in the shared living space.
Even when an annoying male coworker won't leave her alone, the puppyish guy who usually just pouts and calls her "Sis" shows a side of himself that's far more fierce.
Lin Tang thinks she works mainly for a sense of accomplishment. Money is for spending, after all, and having a younger guy around who helps her relax sounds pretty nice.
If Xu Jianwei hadn't slipped up and gone too far, she might never have discovered the few red marriage certificates in his room drawer.
Lin Tang thinks it over. Their becoming roommates really was too much of a coincidence, as if someone had laid a trap and lured her right into it.
So the next time Xu Jianwei looks up at her, eager to please his "sugar mommy," Lin Tang tells him she's made some more money lately and wants to try a different flavor next time.
She wants to see how much longer Xu Jianwei can keep up the act.
