Hiiragi Mana was born into an ancient jujutsu family, and is a once-in-a-century jujutsu prodigy.

Though she was born with immense cursed energy, she never liked being a jujutsu sorcerer. As a teenager, she ran away from home, was discovered by a talent scout, and became an idol trainee.

Under pressure from her family, she promised that if she failed to debut, she would follow their arrangements, give up on an ordinary life, and work in the jujutsu field.

Then Mana, who had set herself up for failure, aged out of the program without ever getting the chance to debut.

With no other choice, she kept her promise and reluctantly joined Jujutsu High as a trainee teacher.

On her first day, faced with a group of over-the-top problem students and a mean-spirited white-haired colleague, Mana, dressed in the school's dowdy uniform, wept bitterly. “People in the jujutsu world really are all lunatics. I want to go back to normal society!”

Mana, a born wage slave, juggles troublesome students and colleagues at Jujutsu High while traveling around the world, including to places like Yokohama, on assignments as a special-grade sorcerer. After a series of events, she realizes:
