If she couldn't destroy him, she would just have to find a way to redeem him.

From then on, beings across the Six Realms often saw the young leader of the Yinglong clan taking Qiongqi to places renowned for their profound Buddhist teachings, trying to purge the fiend's murderous aura. Everyone who heard of it praised Long Xun for her noble principles.

But they had no idea what Chong Shi was going through.

Long Xun took Chong Shi to temples, but she herself couldn't stand listening to the monks chant sutras and prayers. Every time, she cast a silence spell on herself, then forced Chong Shi to meditate and seek enlightenment.

"You might as well kill me," Chong Shi ground out through clenched teeth.

Whenever Long Xun saw this, she couldn't help sighing. "Layman, do not create bad karma with your words."

Chong Shi glared at Long Xun, his eyes bloodred and blazing as if he wanted to kill her on the spot. Do not create bad karma with his words? All he wanted now was to create the karma of murder!
