The Heir Apparent Has Hundreds of Millions in Debt

("Twenty-One Times the Whole Family Was Sentenced to Death" is now available. Visit my author page to read it!) Owe one yuan, and your creditor is your boss. Owe ten million, and you're the boss. The heir owes over a hundred million, so wherever she goes, she's the boss. Rong Zhao transmigrates into the body of the heir of Anqing Prince. The ailing prince has a son, his only child, and immediately petitions to have him named heir. The petition succeeds, and the prince's health improves considerably. Then he discovers... Oh no, his "only son" is a little girl! The old madam and the princess consort lied on purpose so he could pass away in peace. How could Anqing Prince possibly die now?! If the Emperor finds out, it'll be the crime of deceiving the throne, and the whole family will be executed. So Anqing Prince clings to life and keeps the secret under tight wraps, terrified it might get out. All outsiders know is that the heir of Anqing Prince is frail and never shows himself. Seventeen years pass. Recently, Anqing Prince falls critically ill again, and everyone in the manor is in a panic. It's at this point that the richest woman in the land, Rong Zhao, transmigrates into the story. After looking through her memories, Rong Zhao stays perfectly calm. Easy enough. If she can't stay alive as the richest person in ancient times, she'll become the person with the most debt instead. Just look at how people who call bank presidents their brothers are either sitting on a hundred million in savings or carrying fifty million in debt. And so, the heir of Anqing Prince starts making public appearances. This girl is an expert at making money and an even greater expert at borrowing it! The richer and more powerful the other families are, the more "IOUs from the Heir of Anqing Prince" they have. Come year-end, instead of profits, each household head receives an IOU from the heir. Once she starts down the path of borrowing money, there's no stopping her. A year later. The heir of Anqing Prince boldly attends court in women's clothing, and every official pretends not to notice. Even the old Emperor seated above them. There's no helping it. More than half the money in the Emperor's private treasury has been exchanged for the heir's IOUs. Kill her? Who's going to shoulder over a hundred million taels in debt?! As for the "critically ill" Anqing Prince, he's up and about again. The imperial physician recently said there's no reason he can't live to ninety. Anqing Prince: "With over a hundred million in debt hanging over me, how could I dare die?!"
