[Touken Ranbu] In the Name of a Sincere Heart, Charging Toward the Light

Official website introduction: Akashin Choko.

[The Shinsengumi captain's beloved sword, and the beloved blade of the traitor Yamanami Keisuke.]

[It broke during the fierce battle at Iwaki Masuya, as if it were an ill omen.]

[Of unknown origin and with an unremarkable battle record, but skilled at paperwork and negotiation.]

[A scholarly sort who enjoys practicing calligraphy in his spare time, yet without question a Miburo wolf of the Bakumatsu when in battle.]

-

I... am a failed, useless sword.

Though loved, I failed to live up to expectations. Though treasured, I brought misfortune to my former master.

So... please don't choose me.

-

Cherry blossoms fall.

"I am Akashin Choko, the beloved sword of Master Yamanami Keisuke. I have neither name nor fame, and am far from an outstanding sword. I hope to be of service to my lord from now on."
