My Little Sister Is So Adorable

Lin Yuniang’s mother divorced her amorous stepfather, and Lin Yuniang happily set off firecrackers to celebrate.

But only a few days later, disaster struck the mother and daughter, and they were separated. Her mother’s whereabouts were unknown, and Lin Yuniang was kidnapped by bandits and sold to a prince’s household.

The prince thought she was rather pretty and wanted to send her to the newly appointed top scholar to win him over. Lin Yuniang was taken to the scholar’s residence, already thinking about how to escape.

But when she looked up, she saw a man with smiling, peach-blossom eyes sizing her up without a blink.

He smiled. “Little sister?”

Lin Yuniang’s heart jumped. Wasn’t this her former stepbrother?

Thinking of everything that had happened before, Lin Yuniang feared he might take revenge, so she gritted her teeth and lied. “Who are you? I don’t know you.”

Song Yuanting is the newly appointed top scholar. The emperor thinks highly of him, and plenty of people want to buy his loyalty.

He dismisses every woman sent over by the prince’s household, but then he sees his former little sister among them, the daughter his father’s fifth wife had brought with her. To his surprise, she has lost her memory.

Remembering their old bond, Song Yuanting claims she is his long-lost little sister and takes her into his home.

Thanks to her status as Song Yuanting’s sister, Lin Yuniang thrives. She becomes a companion to the princess and the object of every young nobleman’s attention.

Later, Song Yuanting sees her laughing and chatting with a gentle, refined young man, her voice soft and sweet, her face bright with joy.

“My brother is so old-fashioned. I could never marry someone like him.”

At that moment, Song Yuanting regrets it. He shouldn’t have lied and told her she was his little sister.

He should have said she was his fiancée.
