The world was growing increasingly bizarre.
The hero who had sacrificed himself to save the world the day before was nonchalantly selling jianbing outside the school gates the next day.
The day after escaping a case and eating grilled cold noodles while watching TV, a classical-style hero dressed as a woman walked right past him.
The day after graduating from military academy and piloting mecha across the interstellar cosmos, he was recalled to school and handed a copy of Five Years of College Entrance Exams, Three Years of Practice Tests.
And stranger still, one second everyone called him "Lainer Brady," and the next they had all started calling him "Ma Yingyong."
Nobody remembered that his real name was Bage.
He was the only one who realized these changes made no sense.
Bage stood by the window, gazing into the distance at a squad of heroes doing square dancing. After 999 loops, he had grown used to it all.
But...
He gazed wistfully at his progress collecting 1,000 bug fragments.
When would this all end?
A forum launched a collaborative writing event.
The theme was hero stories.
The original story, The Ordinary Hero Starts from Zero and Defeats the Demon King, took place on a mysterious magical continent. The hero set out on a journey to save the world, defeated the Demon King, then died in a comical way.
One participant took up the pen and wrote a scene in which the hero came back from the dead to sell jianbing.
Those who continued the story followed suit.
Everyone let their imaginations run wild, determined to write the most unexpected plot twist of all.
But they discovered an uncontrollable BUG.
Characters they had settled on were replaced, the plots they wrote were altered, and the couples they had paired up were split apart.
Every mishap happened to involve a character named Bage.
[Who's been writing Bage into everything?]
[Why do my stories about Bage keep getting rejected?]
[The theme is hero stories. Don't go off topic!]
[I already gave the extra characters names, so why has someone changed them to Bage again??]
[The world is made up of Bage.jpg]
After reading every accusation against himself, the ever-present culprit smiled and typed a line:
[That's right, the world is made up of BUGs.]
|| Reader's Guide ||
1. No romance. Cover art by @Puyi.
2. Not a typical quick transmigration story (?). It's more like a jumble of various alternate universes featuring the same cast, with forum posts and a little fiction-within-fiction.
3. The protagonist is not a flawless, purely good person (chaotic good). His sense of morality flickers in and out, and his mental state is unpredictable. At first, he is pessimistic and just wants to give up, so his character development may be a little slow to heat up.
4. Chapters two and three are in first person; the rest are in third person.

A Catalog of Failed Fanservice Attempts on an Idol Survival Show (Original, No Romance)
Yu Zhuo, the most popular contestant before the start of the idol survival show Starbound, wasn't exactly guaranteed to make the final lineup, but his chances were about as close to certain as they could get.
Then a System came out of nowhere and gave him two tasks.
1. Debut as part of the group.
2. No fanservice with other guys.
Yu Zhuo: "..."
What kind of toxic solo-fan System was this?
A boy band that didn't do fanservice might as well cut off its own path to success. Wasn't this making things harder for him?
But he refused to play along
System: "Failure will result in forced elimination from the competition."
Yu Zhuo: "My first move after debut will be to cut ties with the one I love!"
Having thoroughly studied the company's Guide to Boy Band Fanservice before entering the competition, along with hundreds of fan-written ship essays, Yu Zhuo was a master of armchair strategy. His plan was to do the opposite of what everyone expected.
Whatever the comments wanted to see, he wouldn't do.
First evaluation
A newly arrived trainee eyed Yu Zhuo greedily. His eager gaze made it unclear whether he wanted the center seat Yu Zhuo occupied, or Yu Zhuo himself, a walking blood supply.
[My favorite is watching people fight over center!]
[I smell an enemies-to-lovers pairing.]
[Battle!]
Yu Zhuo stood up modestly. "Please, have a seat."
Choosing teammates
The two trainees who were unilaterally pursuing Yu Zhuo sincerely recommended themselves. As team leader, he had to make the choice himself.
[Wow, a love triangle!]
[The bickering couple or the kindred spirits, how can he choose?]
[Whichever one he picks, that ship's stock will go up!]
Yu Zhuo left it to fate. "Let's play rock-paper-scissors."
Interview room
The perfect place to build connections, but Yu Zhuo was all about closing his heart off to love.
"There isn't anyone I'm particularly interested in."
"There isn't a team I have my eye on."
"I'm fine working with anyone."
"I'm on more or less the same terms with everyone."
[I can't even.]
[Are you a lone wolf or something, man?]
[I don't think I've ever heard him say anyone else's name.]
Yu Zhuo smiled and twisted the knife. "I don't know any of them well."
After enough incidents like that, everyone knew Yu Zhuo as a cold, independent, conceited careerist.
In theory, nobody should have been foolish enough to keep pining after him.
But the System's fanservice warning rang out as usual.
Yu Zhuo: "Who complimented me on camera this time?"
Theme: Break free of constraints and stay true to yourself.
Sad news, there are many temporary changes, and it may not be possible to increase the update frequency this month QAQ ①My family has given me a new task. I need to fold a large amount of tin foil before burial. I am not sure how long it will take to complete the set amount. ②Another elderly person was severely emotionally affected, and her family wanted me to find a way to take her out for a few days. (If I successfully convince her, it will take about 5 days) ③ Small-scale decoration is arranged at home. Currently, it is still at the stage of design communication and furniture replacement. The formal decoration will be quite busy.
How are you collecting Xiaoba's fragments? I feel like this post has been buried for so long that there aren't even many people who are black about Xiaoba ()
Be like [lie flat] when you see the update
I was supposed to update last week. My grandma had herpes zoster + high fever for several days (now turned into low fever). Just today, I was so tired that I fell ill with a fever... I've already written half of the next chapter, I'll update it after I recover 😭
Ah? So is this diary really written by him? [Afraid] I have to write down the previous review every time I restart. I have such a good memory.
After tying up, I found out that I had chased my wife's other books. Am I also trapped in reincarnation?
Will the boss still write no cp in the next book [Let me be healthy]

Trigger keywords: bread, soup "Now, sir, try my crumb soup," he said, sitting down on his knees before the bowl. The bread crumb soup tasted so good that Levin changed his mind not to go home for lunch. He had lunch with the old man, chatted with him about his household affairs, and talked very deeply. He also told him about his own affairs and the whole situation, as long as it could interest the old man. Levin felt that he was closer to him than to his brother, and the warmth he felt from this man made him smile involuntarily. When the old man stood up again, after praying, he immediately lay down under the bushes and grabbed a handful of grass as a pillow; Levin did the same, although the flies and bugs in the sun were sticky, making his sweaty face and body itchy, but he immediately fell asleep. When he woke up, the sun had already turned to the other side of the bushes and began to scorch him. The old man had not slept for a long time. He sat up and sharpened the young man's sickle. No way, I feel a little crazy [Clown]
