[Blurb]
Wei Yungui is an amnesiac savior. Everyone around him tells him that the world has been left battered and broken by the villain, and that it needs him to save it.
Even his boyfriend thinks so.
So he saves the world.
The story should have ended the moment Wei Yungui saved the world.
Unfortunately, it didn't.
Seven years after saving the world, Wei Yungui had a fight with his boyfriend. As he stormed out and slammed the door, he awakened the ability to read minds.
He ran into Henchman Number One, who was smithing, and casually gave him a piece of mutant metal.
Henchman Number One thought happily: Boss was never this generous when he was a villain.
He passed Henchman Number Two, who had fallen into a trap, and pulled him out without a second thought.
Henchman Number Two wept with gratitude: I can't believe I survived falling into a trap Boss made himself. Boss is so gentle now that he's not a villain.
Wei Yungui sensed something was wrong and hurried home to tell his boyfriend.
He opened the door, then remembered that he and his boyfriend were still giving each other the cold shoulder.
Wei Yungui was about to back out when he heard his boyfriend's slightly aggrieved thoughts.
[We were inseparable when we were villains together. Then you tricked me into saving the world, and after that you started complaining about the seven-year itch. What a jerk!]
Wei Yungui's eyes widened in shock. "???"
Wei Yungui felt conflicted when he discovered he was the villain. At first, the idea didn't feel real to him.
That was until a gathering, when his boyfriend and one of his henchmen got into an argument.
Before he could find out what had happened, he heard the henchman grumble resentfully to himself: He's nothing but a fake boyfriend who claimed the role while Boss had amnesia. What right does he have to throw his weight around in front of Boss?
Wei Yungui was furious.
It was bad enough that he wasn't really a savior. But how could his boyfriend be fake too?
Whoever wants to save this world can do it.
He's done!
