Blurb:
When Ye Tingyuan was seven, a new family moved in next door. It was another mother with a child.
Ye Tingyuan hated the boy, who was three years older than her. He was well-behaved and clever, and everyone loved him. Meanwhile, Ye Tingyuan was the troublemaking brat everyone in the neighborhood disliked.
Ye Tingyuan secretly bullied the boy who seemed so well-behaved, even though he called her "Little Sister Quanquan" in front of other people all day long.
What Ye Tingyuan hated even more was that he had two faces. When they were alone, he would only give her the cold shoulder and bully her.
Later, the troublemaking brat had a miserable time when she was forced to take a tagalong under her wing. Wherever she went, the boy followed.
By the time her little shadow had grown nearly as tall as her, they had changed into different school uniforms, and Ye Tingyuan never saw him again.
A few days later, she heard that her neighbors had been in a car accident.
After graduating from college, Ye Tingyuan took a half-step into the entertainment industry. After a few years of struggling, she became a broke short-film director.
Her new script had no funding, and she couldn't even find actors. At last, Ye Tingyuan decided to give up on her dream.
Before leaving, she received some unexpected news.
A major company wanted to sponsor her short film, with just one non-negotiable condition: they would choose the male lead, and he could not be replaced.
The next day, Ye Tingyuan met the actor, surrounded by assistants and shining like a star. His eyes looked a lot like those of her little sidekick.
"This is Li Xuan, who just won his third Best Actor award overseas. The award-winning actor, Li."
Without thinking, Ye Tingyuan said a name that was long out of date.
"Sorry..." She shouldn't have said that.
"Mm. I'm here, Little Sister Quanquan."
He pushed his way through the crowd around him and walked up to Ye Tingyuan, answering in a low voice.
Sunny director x aloof award-winning actor
Blurb for "The Cannon Fodder Villainess Only Wants to Survive in Peace [Apocalypse]"
Li Wenting transmigrates into a minor character with the same name in the unfinished, abruptly discontinued novel "Survival Guide to the Apocalypse," and finds herself in a disastrous situation from the start.
Endless day and night, violently fluctuating temperatures, corrosive acid rain, earthquakes, fires, floods, parasites in human hosts, mutated species...
Worse still, the original Li Wenting's track record is as follows:
In the original story, cannon fodder Li Wenting trusts her family, then takes a bite meant for her younger brother while they are fleeing. After contracting the zombie virus, her family abandons her.
She steals a packet of instant noodles from the heroine, Mu Tianchen, and earns the enmity of a heroine equipped with an Apocalypse infrastructure-building System.
Refusing to give them back, she struggles with the heroine, and the male lead, Li Lanzhou, who has awakened the strongest ability in the whole book, shoots her dead.
She appears for only a few short chapters. Li Wenting becomes her family's punching bag, a catalyst for the leads' romance, a convenient target for the heroine's System kill-task KPI, and a walking stepping stone through and through.
Later in the novel, the male and female leads use their System and abilities to slowly rebuild order. They develop a genetic medicine that suppresses the mutated species, and the apocalyptic crisis eases.
Her parents and her younger brother, who has awakened an ability, live comfortably in the safe zone, eating their fill and doing nothing.
After the original Li Wenting is shot, zombies devour her body. No one remembers her.
Li Wenting: I want to take everything back. Where's my golden finger?
The plot responds: There is one, there is one. You can imitate the aura of mutated species and disguise yourself as zombies and other mutated nonhuman creatures. It's unstable, so you'll need to learn to control it.
Li Wenting: If the protagonists identify me as a nonhuman monster, how is that any different from handing them a free kill?
It'll be fine. She transmigrated into a book and knows some of the plot.
Stock up, find somewhere safe to hide, and lie low.
Plans never survive contact with reality. When Li Wenting wakes up in the book, she's holding a packet of Master Kong's red-packaged instant noodles.
This time, Li Wenting returns the noodles, gets down on her knees, and begs for mercy with a sob story. The temporary team led by Mu Li judges her an out-of-control threat and exiles her to a future danger zone designated by Mu Tianchen's System, leaving her to fend for herself.
An extremely dangerous zone, with a zero survival rate, unpredictable climate, complex terrain, and frequent sightings of mutated species.
Order is collapsing, enemies are being made, and her body is growing cold.
Then the male and female leads return to the restricted zone. Li Wenting disguises herself as a high-level evolved mutant, gets injured and captured, and is taken back to the safe zone to be locked up in a laboratory.
A week later, every senior official in the safe zone receives a message through the network System:
"Noah's Ark" Safe Zone, your true leader has arrived!
Daily survival in the restricted zone:
Li Wenting, crossing names off her list of enemies on the ground: Clear a path through the mountains, build a bridge over the water. I really want to (wipe out) you all in the restricted zone.
Theme: Have the courage to pursue your dreams
