After Getting Mixed Up with a Veteran Actor

Couple: A slick, flirtatious rookie actor with maxed-out charms x an older, drama-obsessed veteran who goes from cold and passionless to a clingy sweetheart without missing a beat

On this grand occasion, the variety show The Acting Boot Camp officially announced its premiere date. Its ultimate goal is to select the female lead for China's first true girls' love film, Ice Rift.

The other female lead is a big name: Chen Yuge, a three-time major film award winner. She will also join the show as one of the mentors, holding the most valuable vote in choosing her co-star.

While the other contestants worked themselves to the bone to hone their acting skills, Cheng Yi swaggered down the shortcut and knocked on the award-winning actress's door.

"What are you doing here?" Chen Yuge was naturally less than pleased to have her rest interrupted.

"I've come to offer myself to you, Teacher Chen," Cheng Yi said with a beaming smile.

Chen Yuge: ???

What nerve. But young people are usually all guts and no sense, so she might as well treat it as a joke.

Chen Yuge scoffed. "You? What makes you think you can?"

A hint of sincerity appeared in Cheng Yi's eyes. "Because I can make it to the end with you."

Chen Yuge: ...What an ego. Keep dreaming!

Three months later, on the set of Ice Rift:

The director called "Cut!" again and again, but the two leads remained locked in each other's arms.

Oh, dear! That kiss scene was absolutely perfect, but could the two of you please get yourselves together and prepare for the next scene? The crew is behind schedule!

But Chen Yuge was clearly still lost in the insatiable kiss they'd just shared. Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she buried her face even deeper in Cheng Yi's strong embrace.

Cheng Yi gave her a mischievous wink. "The director's calling us."

Chen Yuge complained in a coy voice, "This is all your fault. Help me up, my legs are weak!"

A little note: I think I accidentally made the blurb a bit too cheesy again. I'll polish it later. Don't worry, the actual story is perfectly normal. 0.0
