Take This Ball!

A tentative upcoming story, just to build up a little foundation. 0.0

I'm really into sports stories, even though I know they're not popular.

It has a women's volleyball setting, with no real-life players as reference, so don't worry.

A quick guide to the positions: outside hitter, middle blocker, opposite hitter, setter, and libero.

Couple: morally ambiguous genius setter x hardworking, straightforward veteran-style opposite hitter

Song Jiahe has been the coach's favorite ever since she joined the team.

What a setter prospect, one you only see once in decades:

Tall, with long arms and plenty of power behind her sets.

Song Jiahe is thrilled to hear it. She nudges the quiet little blockhead beside her. "Know why my sets have so much power?"

Xia Dong: "?"

Song Jiahe licks her lips and grins. "Just look at these long, slender fingers of mine~ They're pretty strong at other things, too~"

Xia Dong: "…"
