Sweet, soft bunny x fake-faced big bad wolf

Nan Xi first met Gu Shuzhi face-to-face at the start of her freshman year. Her neighbor and older-brother figure, Jing Wei, put an arm around her shoulders and introduced them. "Gu Shuzhi, the buddy I've told you about. Nan Xi, my little girl. Look after her from now on."

Nan Xi curled her fingers and whispered, "Hello, Brother Shuzhi."

Gu Shuzhi stubbed out his cigarette. He glanced at her through the curling smoke and replied.

Nan Xi never got Gu Shuzhi to look after her. The first thing she heard was that he was going abroad.

-

She saw Gu Shuzhi again in a narrow alley overseas. Nan Xi had gone abroad with her best friend to clear her head. One day, while she was out alone, someone snatched her phone. As she chased them into a narrow alley, Gu Shuzhi knocked the thief to the ground with one punch.

He picked up the phone, its lock screen showing a photo of him, and turned to ask her, "Is this yours?"

Nan Xi thought Gu Shuzhi didn't remember her anymore, so she boldly flirted with him at her best friend's encouragement. When his knowing gaze made her lose her nerve, his lips had already come down on hers with fervor.

After one wild night, she learned his heart belonged to someone else.

-

Gu Shuzhi had thought Nan Xi belonged to Jing Wei. Only later did he realize he had been wrong from the start.

Reader notes: They are both sexually inexperienced. Happy ending. Age gap, sweet romance.
