Marrying My Fiancé's Father

On her wedding day, her fiance ran away for the sake of his true love, leaving Wu Mi'er to face the guests alone.

Everyone in the martial world waited to see Wu Mi'er's humiliation. They mocked her for being presumptuous: an orphan from a minor sect, daring to dream of becoming the wife of the young master of Ten Thousand Swords Manor.

Then the master of Ten Thousand Swords Manor, rumored to be cold-hearted and distant, stepped forward. He wore a blue robe and had a face as beautiful as a painting, yet his imposing presence was enough to make anyone tremble.

"My son doesn't know what's good for him." He took her hand. "Why don't I, his father, take his place and see this marriage through?"

Wan Shanhai was the greatest swordsman of his age, peerless in skill and unmatched in combat. The martial world said no one could hurt him in the slightest.

It was also said that his handsome face had once captivated courtesans and noble young ladies alike. Alas, he was devoted to martial arts and had no interest in love, and remained alone as he approached thirty.

On the eve of the wedding feast, people saw Wan Shanhai bend down to embrace a young woman, speaking to her softly. As his clothes shifted, they glimpsed scratches and bite marks on his skin...

The martial world's heroes: So the rumors really can't be trusted!
