The Strange Tale NPC's Employee Diary

My name is Wu Yehu, and I'm an employee NPC in a Rule-Horror game.

The company recently introduced a new policy requiring every employee to write a weekly report. But I refuse. I'm writing a diary instead.

The Rule-Horror game is currently in development, and will be released into various worlds in the form of a game.

However, before long, these games will become reality and descend upon those worlds.

When that happens, my coworkers and I will have to work overtime all over again, with no raise or benefits! Damn this bloodsucking company. If I didn't have to pay back my Jiebei loan, I'd have quit ages ago.

Employee Guidelines: Your daily task is to frighten or kill one person. Fail to meet your quota, and your pay will be docked.

My brainless idiot coworkers only know how to kill people. I'm different: I scare them unconscious instead. Killing the chicken for its eggs is what fools do. I'm clever.

One thing worth mentioning: I've never seen the big boss since I got this job.

I suspect the boss is a tombstone, the kind with two meters of grass growing over the grave. Otherwise, why would he set up such a strange company?

Ah, I almost forgot...

I'm supposed to hand in this diary? I'd better tear out anything that makes me look bad. That way, nobody will find out.

Third-person narrative, first-person synopsis.

The daily life of a Rule-Horror NPC.

Theme: Elevate your outlook and become the most inspiring member of the working class.
