A Couch Potato's Daily Life Raising a Disciple

I'm putting this book on hold for now because there's a problem with the main plot, and writing it has been really painful. The opening was supposed to be written from the male lead's fixed point of view, mainly to show him pulling off all sorts of schemes as he takes on disciples. But later it turned into something closer to an ensemble perspective. Ensemble stories aren't bad, but I'm having a hard time handling one right now, which means the male lead takes up less of the story.

I hope I can learn from this for my next upcoming novel. The next one is also a cultivation story, but it will go in a different direction from this one. Feel free to add it to your collection if you're interested. ●|￣|_

Lin Yang transmigrates into a fantasy world, inherits a run-down sect from the start, and gets bound to a Sect Founding System.

System perks: He receives rewards multiplied ten thousand times whenever he teaches the Dao or gives something to a disciple.

Lin Yang: My good disciples scattered across the world, your master is coming to find you. Until then, don't let some terrible villain trick you into joining them!

Disciple, it seems we were destined to meet. Take this half a spirit stone. I hope you can hold on to your principles and cultivate diligently in the days to come.

Xu Mo: ...Cultivate my ass! Half a spirit stone isn't even enough to complete one full cycle of circulation!

Disciple, don't aim too high. The path of cultivation is so difficult that you must take it one step at a time. Keep your feet on the ground, and you can reach the heavenly palace!

Lin Yang thought to himself: It's not that your master isn't trying. It's that our ancestors let us down. I searched most of the sect for ages and could only dig up this half a spirit stone, so all I can do for now is make big promises.

Don't worry, disciple. You'll have spirit stones and magical treasures one day.

No harem, no romance, invincible protagonist.

Theme: In this world, there will always be a place touched by light.
