A few months later, the mysterious creature that had named itself "Song Sinian" sat at the table, making notes on how to raise its food supply, as usual.
1. Humans dislike ugly creatures.

Thinking back on what had happened that day, Its black, chaotic body stiffened slightly. After hesitating for a moment, It used an ink-stained tentacle to write a new line:
Humans like to kiss when they're scared.
All right.
It thought: Keeping delicious food from panicking is something a mysterious creature ought to do.

Pei Sheng, the "food supply," accidentally discovers the notebook and notices a date in it.
Song Sinian has planned the day he will devour him completely.
Pei Sheng lowers his eyes and silently puts the notebook back where he found it.
That evening, as usual, Pei Sheng says, "Wash up before you come eat."
Song Sinian nods. "Sure."
He thinks that tomorrow, he won't see Pei Sheng anymore.
Somehow... he feels a little reluctant.
At last, Song Sinian gets his wish and takes a bite.

What happens afterward isn't quite what he imagined.
After that day, Pei Sheng asks, "Want another bite?"
Song Sinian curls up inside his cat-shaped body, several tentacles gripping the bedframe for dear life. "No more! I really won't eat you again! QAQ!"
