[Marriage Before Love / A Celebrity Couple's Secret Marriage Goes Public]

1. Xu Zhiyi sees Song Ye again at the Annual Gala, onstage.

He's a presenter, and she's receiving an award.

In front of the cameras, they act polite and distant. They really don't know each other well.

But some sharp-eyed netizens notice that off-camera, Song Ye walks past everyone and sits down beside Xu Zhiyi.

Song Ye asks her, "It's been ages since I saw you. Where do we keep the electricity card at home?"

2. Song Ye is the youngest actor to win two Best Actor awards, a top-tier film star for his age.

Normally, a little variety show wouldn't be able to book someone of his stature, but somehow, he agrees to appear.

The MCs meet for the first time and exchange pleasantries.

When it's Xu Zhiyi's turn, sticking to their agreement to act like strangers, she politely greets him: "Mr. Song, it's a pleasure to meet you. I hope you'll take good care of me."

Song Ye lazily replies, "The first time? I think you've forgotten, Ms. Xu."

Xu Zhiyi: "…" Weren't they supposed to act like they didn't know each other?

Behind the cameras, a popular young actor knocks on Xu Zhiyi's door and blurts out a confession.

On the other side of the door, Song Ye is pinned against it by Xu Zhiyi. She covers his lips with her little hand and whispers, "Shh, Mr. Song, don't make a sound..."

Song Ye smiles, takes her hand down, and holds it in his palm. He leans close and softly asks in her ear, "What about this? Is this okay?"

Xu Zhiyi: "...??"

Halfway through the show, he can't even be bothered to pretend anymore.

Their CP fans go wild, scouring every day for clues.

The day they officially announce their relationship, the entire internet crashes.

One of the earliest fans proudly says, "See? I told you he was definitely whispering to her at the Annual Gala!"
