The shopkeeper's curls were dark as seaweed beneath the waves. A delicate camisole barely covered her shoulders and neck, leaving a glorious view of her cleavage. Fair-skinned, with dark brows, she held a thin cigarette between her lips.
"We've got a full selection of beer and cigarettes. What can I get you, young man?"
"I'm looking for someone."
Yu Wuwan folded her arms and smiled, exhaling a cloud of smoke. "Fifty to point the way, a hundred if you want a ride."
A stack of red banknotes landed on the cigarette counter. Chen Fu met her captivating gaze. "Is this enough?"

The evening breeze carried the salty scent of the sea. Beer bottles lay scattered beside the barbecue stand.
A hermit crab quietly burrowed into the sand. Yu Wuwan sat cross-legged, eyes half closed as she counted the money in her hands.
Chen Fu was amused by her greedy look. "Saving up your dowry?"
Yu Wuwan laughed and spat at him.
"As if you're worth it." She waved the stack of bills. "I'm saving up to build an aquarium."
"And when it's done, you'll be the tropical fish I keep behind the glass."
In the end, Chen Fu made that wish come true, building an underwater world on Lianlan Island that belonged to Yu Wuwan alone.
The aquarium belonged to Yu Wuwan,
and Chen Fu belonged to Yu Wuwan too.
