The Seventies' Most Powerful Woman

When Xu Sinan was born, many people thought the Xu family would fall into decline because she was a girl.

Later, she beat every boy in those families until they were howling on the ground.

When Xu Sinan enlisted, many people looked down on her because she was a woman.

Later, she left them utterly unable to fight back and showed them just how formidable she was.

When Xu Sinan went to the battlefield, many people thought she was unfit for the job because she was a woman staff officer.

Later, she drove the enemy back at every turn, and made all those people eat their words.

Xu Sinan was fiercely competitive all her life and never admitted defeat, except when it came to one person. Against him, she was utterly defenseless.

Fortunately, he never let her lose, either.

Lu Xichen had been frail since childhood. His family raised him like a delicate porcelain doll, precious and fragile. He never fit in with the rowdy kids in the compound and couldn't become part of their group.

Until one day, a girl came through a hail of bullets, took his hand, and said she would take him home.

He began trying to fit in with the group and become part of her life.

When she fought, he handed her a knife. When she enlisted, he studied medicine. When she went to the battlefield, he followed the army. When she protected the country, he protected her.

Everyone praised his exceptional medical skills. Only he knew that studying medicine was his all-or-nothing gamble, a way to get one step closer to her.

Fortunately, he didn't lose in the end.
