The Little Green Tea of the Seventies

Gu Bei had a comrade-in-arms. She was tough, calm, and utterly flawless.

They fought side by side for over a decade, comrades who worked together seamlessly and trusted each other more than anyone.

Unfortunately, their friendship as comrades did not have a happy ending.

He died on the battlefield, while she grew old alone, guarding a city.

Given another life, Gu Bei dumped the scumbag who would betray her in the future long before it happened, and rushed without hesitation toward the comrade who shared her ideals.

Back then, Lu Changliu was still a boy with a touch of childishness about him. Whenever he saw her, his ears would turn red.

Later, they married, but she never saw that side of him again.

Later still, she discovered that his toughness, calm, and flawlessness had all been an act. The real Lu Changliu was a fragile, clingy, hysterical man who would cling to her again and again, begging for cuddles; throw tantrums because he knew she doted on him; and turn red-eyed whenever he saw her standing beside another man.

Lu Chacha: "You don't love me at all. You only wanted me as your comrade-in-arms."

Gu Bei: "Then, do you still want to cuddle?"

Lu Chacha: "Yes!"
