May Happiness Stay with Us Year After Year

On the first day Jiang Suisui transferred to No. 1 High School, she offended Xu Zhounian, the school's notorious big shot.

Everyone knew Xu Zhounian was arrogant and volatile, the sort who always got even. Rumor had it that he'd once broken the leg of someone who crossed him, then gotten them expelled.

When Jiang Suisui heard, she shook with fear.

To make sure she could stay at No. 1 High School and get through her senior year, Jiang Suisui resolutely decided to apologize to Xu Zhounian. She brought him breakfast every morning, bought him water between classes, and even took notes for him when he was recovering at home from an injury he got playing basketball. She did it all so he wouldn't get back at her.

Because of this, Xu Zhounian's friends kept saying the top student in their class was pursuing him.

After a while, Xu Zhounian began to think so too.

Later on, Xu Zhounian gazed solemnly at the girl in front of him and said awkwardly, "Jiang Suisui, I accept your pursuit. I'll be your boyfriend."

Jiang Suisui stared at him in alarm. "I... When did I ever pursue you?"

Xu Zhounian: "If you don't like me, why do you bring me breakfast every day and fuss over me?"

Jiang Suisui: "I was afraid you'd get back at me, so I was trying to butter you up."

Xu Zhounian was furious. Gritting his teeth, he said, "I don't care. I'll take it as you pursuing me, and now I'm agreeing to be your boyfriend."

Jiang Suisui was on the verge of tears. "Please don't come over anymore. Don't distract me from studying."

Later, everyone noticed Xu Zhounian had completely changed. He stopped skipping class and began sitting in the classroom, diligently attending every lesson.

"May each year bring you joy, and may every year go your way."
