After Marrying Professor Song

Lu Xuefeng has few relatives and was raised by his grandmother.

Now his grandmother is critically ill, and her only wish is for him to settle down and start a family.

“Thanks.” It takes Li Qianshu a moment to recognize him. “Are you... Lu Jing?”

Back in school, Lu Jing was always the bespectacled boy sitting at the back of the classroom, head down and studying hard. He hardly spoke and never stood out.

More than ten years have passed, and he’s changed so much. Li Qianshu hears that he only transferred to Minghai Municipal Hospital in the past couple of years, where he works in thoracic surgery.

After the reunion, Li Qianshu can’t stop thinking about him.

But Dr. Lu seems warm and courteous while keeping a firm distance, so he’s not easy to flirt with.

After a few setbacks and more pressure from his family to get married, Li Qianshu gets drunk one day and boldly proposes:

They register their marriage in a daze. His friend can’t believe it: “Wait, did you actually go through with it?!”

Li Qianshu sprawls on the sofa to rest. “What do you know about turning an old classmate into a husband?”
