The upcoming novel After Going on a Dating Show with the Movie Emperor is currently serializing. You’re all welcome to stop by!
About this novel:
[Scheming, caretaker-type top x fragile, sickly beauty bottom]
New blurb:
Han Chi is stingy. He was three years ago, and he still is three years later.
Anything he gets his hands on, he refuses to give to anyone else. He wants to claim it as his private property. He treats people, things, and everything else the same way, especially Han Yuan’an.
Han Yuan’an knows he’s stingy and doesn’t dare provoke him, but he also wants to see all the things Han Chi does because he wants to possess him.
Old blurb:
Three years later, Han Yuan’an returns to China and takes a position as a law professor at Huan University. Using the excuse of bringing students to visit, he gets into Han Chi’s law firm.
He thought they would be bitter enemies, locked in a fierce rivalry; that former lovers meeting again would be consumed by jealousy; that Han Chi would deliberately make things difficult for him at every turn. But none of that seems to happen.
An unexpected incident three years ago sent Han Yuan’an abroad without giving him any time to prepare, leaving his little tagalong behind in China. The little tagalong grew up independently, becoming strong and reserved.
After three years apart, Han Yuan’an returns and discovers that his little tagalong has hidden away his former fragility. He’s spent years growing up alone in a thorn-filled world, which is both heartbreaking and frustrating to see.
During their first Spring Festival after making up, Han Chi writes a wish on a sticky note, then childishly tucks it into a book and locks it away.
“You have to like me a little more.”
It’s his New Year’s wish, and something he’s been hoping for all these years.
He needs to be liked a little more to make up for the three years they lost.
Reader’s guide:
1. Gentle caretaker-type top x fragile, sickly bottom
2. Han Yuan’an x Han Chi
3. One-on-one, both are each other’s first, age gap, six years
4. “They never broke up, so there’s no need to get back together.”
5. A sweet little story. Happiness is what matters most, so please don’t nitpick the logic, and definitely don’t scrutinize the writing!

Bai Xiangsi has always been a model of propriety. The only exception was when he fell for Gu Jinshu in high school, but his unrequited love went nowhere.
Years later, Bai Xiangsi, now an award-winning actor, meets Gu Jinshu again. Gu Jinshu has become a movie emperor.
Gu Jinshu sits across from him and looks him straight in the eye, earnest and sincere. “I think this is a win-win collaboration.”
Bai Xiangsi presses his lips together, unconsciously pinching his fingers. “...Does being paired up mean... there’s a script?”
Gu Jinshu leans back in his chair and smiles as he nods. “Of course.”
On the dating show, Gu Jinshu puts an arm around Bai Xiangsi as they emerge from an escape room.
Bai Xiangsi reminds himself: You can let go now.
But Gu Jinshu says, “Not yet. It’s what the script says.”
The CP fans: We’re just looking for sweet moments. That’s our job. Who cares if it’s real or not!
Gu Jinshu joins the cast of Bai Xiangsi’s TV drama. During a rehearsal, Gu Jinshu presses his lips to Bai Xiangsi’s.
Bai Xiangsi hurriedly pulls away. “That wasn’t the right line...”
Gu Jinshu lets him go. “It was. The script changed.”
The CP fans are still determined to find the truth in the fiction: “They changed the script~ They must’ve changed it on set~”
At the cast wrap party, Gu Jinshu and Bai Xiangsi hide in a dark corner to avoid the paparazzi.
Above them, their hot breath mingles; against Bai Xiangsi’s chest, Gu Jinshu’s lips brush his reddening collarbone.
Bai Xiangsi clutches the hem of his shirt and manages to ask, “Is this part of the script too?”
Gu Jinshu’s lips rest by his ear as he exhales slowly. “Yes.”
Just as rumors about the two of them are reaching a fever pitch, an interview with Gu Jinshu is released, and it shoots straight to the top of the trending topics.
It’s an interview filmed after Bai Xiangsi’s award ceremony.
The reporter asks, “What do you think about the CP fans shipping you lately, Mr. Gu? Are those sweet moments real? Mr. Bai is a very talented actor too. Is this a publicity pairing, or is there some kind of script?”
Gu Jinshu rests a finger against his chin, his gaze fixed on the camera. After a two-second silence, he suddenly smiles. “What do you think?”
Bai Xiangsi: “??”
The CP fans: “???”
#What do you mean, what do I think? That you two made the fake romance real?
#I don’t know either! I only showed up because he said there was a script!
Reader’s note:
1. No real-life inspirations. This is practice writing, and the entertainment industry is fictional.
2. Sweet story, happy ending, one-on-one, mutual pining
3. No logic or professional knowledge, just enjoy the sweetness
