How to Pamper a Pretty Little Crybaby

The residents of a small town find Nian Xicheng on the beach. The young man's features are so beautiful he looks like a mermaid in a fairy tale.

Nian Xicheng claims he doesn't know how to walk on human feet.

Taken in by his beauty, the residents immediately call over Professor Guan Luyuan, who is here on a research trip, to help the beautiful mermaid.

In the twenty-first century, hearing someone suspicious claim to be a mermaid is enough to make the research team want to call the police.

At the thought that he might go to jail, Nian Xicheng's eyes turn red and large tears spill down his cheeks. Even the ascetic Professor Guan is momentarily stunned by his beauty.

When the tears land on the back of his hand, Nian Xicheng himself suddenly freezes.

Just as Professor Guan thinks the young man can no longer keep up his "mermaid act," he hears Nian Xicheng sob even more pitifully:

"Why aren't my tears turning into pearls anymore?"

Professor Guan: "?"

Professor Guan Luyuan is called "for sapiosexuals only" by the students on his research team.

In other words, unless someone has an extreme intellectual attraction, no one dares to harbor fantasies about this professor who has renounced love, no matter how tempting his handsome face and abs might be.

Just when everyone thinks Professor Guan will reach the pinnacle of lifelong solitude, with no one capable of bringing him to heel...

One day, the students run around cheering and spreading the news: Professor Guan has finally met his match!

Everyone gathers to watch. At the entrance to the courtyard, they see the beautiful young man sitting in a wheelchair, sniffling and crying pitifully.

Professor Guan watches him coldly for a long while, but in the end, he sighs helplessly, bends down, and gathers the beauty into his arms to comfort him.

Later, Nian Xicheng finally regains feeling in his legs.

But being spoiled has made him even more delicate and prone to tears. Whenever Guan Luyuan tries to discipline him, he sheds little pearls.

One day, Guan Luyuan easily pins him to the bed and lectures him. Nian Xicheng can't get away.

His struggles are useless, and his eyes immediately grow wet as he whimpers, about to cry.

But Professor Guan chuckles and teaches the little mermaid a new lesson:

"In human society, tears aren't a cure-all.

In certain situations, crying can help the wicked get away with things."
