They say there's a magical cocktail that makes whoever drinks it fall in love at first sight.
Li Jinhuan had liked the school bully for ages. She worked up the courage to order one before confessing, but it was delivered to the wrong person, and her childhood friend drank it instead.
The drink really did what it promised. Ruan Jiamu's eyes changed when he looked at her!
He poured tea, ran around doing everything for her, and went from a sharp-tongued schemer to a loyal puppy. Whenever he saw her, the invisible tail behind him would wag like a helicopter propeller, ready to take off.
Li Jinhuan started questioning reality. The drink really was magical.
What made her question reality even more was that she had fallen for the sworn brother she'd made a pact with.
When the effect wore off, she actually felt a little disappointed. She spent a sleepless night, then left the house with dark circles under her eyes.
"Good morning!" Ruan Jiamu was still waiting outside with two breakfasts in hand.
Before she could even register his clear, youthful voice, she heard her own frantic heartbeat, deafeningly loud.

Ruan Jiamu had had a crush on his childhood friend for years, but she never got the hint and only wanted to be bros.
A century-old iron tree finally blossomed, but the person who made his heart flutter wasn't him.
He downed the cocktail first.

One day, Ruan Jiamu left his computer on, and Li Jinhuan saw a familiar page on the screen:
The Heart-Fluttering Cocktail Store.
The cocktail had only been listed once and was already sold out. Beside it was the reason for the sale:
"I got her." There was also a photo of her official relationship announcement from her social media.
What she didn't expect was that this was Ruan Jiamu's profile picture.
Even more surprising, the account was verified under his real name, and he was the seller.
What a devious scheme...
Li Jinhuan: Explain yourself first.
Thump, thump.
My heart says it likes you.
We both covered our mouths.
But I know you know, and you know that I know.
